Michael J. Murray, MD

Dr. Michael J. Murray, NCFMC’s medical director, graduated from the Tulane University School of Medicine in 1993 and finished his residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the Oregon Health Sciences University in 1997. He completed his fellowship in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility at the University of North Carolina in 1999. After concluding his training, Dr. Murray served on the faculty at the University of California, Davis School of Medicine and then as the first Director of the Division of Reproductive Endocrinology and Fertility at the Kaiser Permanente Center for Reproductive Health in Sacramento.

Dr. Murray’s special interests focus on reproductive surgery, including laparoscopy and the removal of fibroids, as well as assisted reproductive technologies and research in women’s health. He has been awarded numerous grants and awards for his research from both the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists and the American Society of Reproductive Medicine.

Dr. Murray is board-certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology and Reproductive Endocrinology.
