Manuel A. Doblado, MD
Dr. Manuel A. Doblado graduated from the Washington University School of Medicine in 2010. From there, Dr. Doblado continued his medical training at the University of Colorado, Obstetrics and Gynecology residency program where he was awarded the Gold CREOG and Medical Student Teaching Awards in addition to his involvement in research. He completed his fellowship in Reproductive Endocrinology at the University of California, San Diego. Here he earned the UCSD and Kaiser Permanente Medical Center Reproductive Medicine Residency Fellows Teaching Award. We are very excited to have Dr. Doblado join our practice as of July 2017. Dr. Doblado is board-certified in OB/GYN and Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility. California License 131490

Sahar M. Stephens, MD
Dr. Sahar M. Stephens graduated from the Washington University School of Medicine in 2007. She continued at Washington University for her Obstetrics and Gynecology residency which was completed in 2011. She was appointed Administrative Chief Resident her final year and received the Excellence in Laparoscopy award in 2011. She completed her fellowship in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility at the University of Colorado Denver in 2014. She has recently joined the practice at Northern California Fertility Medical Center and brings new energy to the practice. Dr. Stephens has published several scientific articles in peer-reviewed medical journals and has presented her research at multiple national research symposiums. Her interests include reproductive surgery, especially the minimally invasive techniques of laparoscopy and hysteroscopy, and she has experience with robotic assisted laparoscopy. Additional interests include assisted reproductive technologies, reproductive endocrinopathies and women’s health. Laurie P. Lovely, MD
Dr. Laurie P. Lovely graduated from Emory University School of Medicine in 1991, and completed her Obstetrics and Gynecology residency at Keesler Medical Center located in Biloxi, MS in 1995. In 1998, Dr. Lovely finished her fellowship in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility at the University of North Carolina. After concluding her training, Dr. Lovely relocated to Northern California as the chief of the Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility department at David Grant Medical Center, Travis Air Force Base in Fairfield, CA. From 2001-08 Dr. Lovely, practiced here at NCFMC. Most recently she has been on staff at California IVF, Davis and Associate Clinical Professor at UC Davis Medical Center. We are very pleased to have her knowledge and expertise return to us at Northern California Fertility Medical Center. Dr. Lovely’s professional interests include the management of stress and infertility, in which she has presented an award winning paper to the American Society of Reproductive Medicine, as well as pubertal problems and reconstructive tubal surgery including tubal ligation reversals. Dr. Lovely is board-certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology and in Reproductive Endocrinology.

Michael J. Murray, MD
Dr. Michael J. Murray, NCFMC’s medical director, graduated from the Tulane University School of Medicine in 1993 and finished his residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the Oregon Health Sciences University in 1997. He completed his fellowship in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility at the University of North Carolina in 1999. After concluding his training, Dr. Murray served on the faculty at the University of California, Davis School of Medicine and then as the first Director of the Division of Reproductive Endocrinology and Fertility at the Kaiser Permanente Center for Reproductive Health in Sacramento. Dr. Murray’s special interests focus on reproductive surgery, including laparoscopy and the removal of fibroids , as well as assisted reproductive technologies and research in women’s health. He has been awarded numerous grants and awards for his research from both the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists and the American Society of Reproductive Medicine. Dr. Murray is board-certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology and Reproductive Endocrinology.

Suzanne E. Generao, MD
A urologist and male fertility specialist, Dr. Suzanne E. Generao graduated from Georgetown University School of Medicine in 1999. She completed her residency in Urology at the University of California, Davis Medical Center in 2005. After residency, Dr. Generao joined Sutter Medical Group Urology in Sacramento while also continuing her training in male infertility and microsurgery with Dr. John Gould at Northern California Fertility Medical Center over a three-year period.

Angela Brooks FNP-C
Angela Brooks is a Fertility Specialist Nurse Practitioner that is nationally certified in medicine. She knew at a young age that she wanted to spend her life helping others, which made health care an easy choice. She became a Registered Nurse, graduating in 1999, and began her career in the hospital setting, including the Intensive Care Unit. From there, she went on to spend 19 years dedicated to Organ Donation, where she utilized her clinical skills across the country to help save countless lives while simultaneously providing the highest level of emotional support to grieving families. Angela later returned to school for her Bachelor’s Degree in Health Care Administration, graduating in 2015. After several years in management roles, Angela realized she missed patient interaction and using her hands and knowledge to make a tangible difference. She completed her Master’s in Nursing/Family Nurse Practitioner at Samuel Merritt University in 2022 and is a proud member of both the American Association of Nurse Practitioners and the American Society for Reproductive Medicine. Angela was born because of fertility medicine, and later chose to be a three-time egg donor. She has personally encouraged and supported many friends through their fertility journeys over the years and has a special passion for working with members of the LGBTQ+ community in addition to patients from all walks of life.

Saffron Hackett, FNP-C
Saffron Hackett is a nationally certified Nurse Practitioner Fertility Specialist that specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of patients with infertility. After completing her undergraduate degree at Örebro University in Sweden, she went on to complete her master’s degree in Midwifery through Linkoping’s University in Sweden. Her thesis was published in the journal Midwifery . Enthusiastic to continue her learning and professional development as a Nurse Practitioner, Saffron graduated with her second master’s degree with distinction from United States University in San Diego. Additionally, she is a member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP) and the American Society for Reproductive Medicine (ASRM). Saffron has acquired skills and knowledge through 20 years of experience practicing as an RN, Midwife, and Nurse Practitioner, working in various areas such as labor and delivery, postpartum, dermatology and pediatrics. Prior to starting her provider role at NCFMC, she worked for over ten years as a fertility nurse. She now continues to master and expand her knowledge in reproductive medicine. Saffron recognizes that each individual is unique and is passionate about providing care that facilitates and supports both the physical and mental well-being of her patient as they undergo their fertility journey. She looks forward to being part of her patients’ success stories.

Celeste Hill, PA-C
Celeste Hill is a nationally board-certified Physician Assistant that specializes in fertility. Celeste has worked in fertility medicine since 2013 following graduation with a degree in Health Science from Whitworth University. After working as a senior embryologist, she followed her passion for clinical medicine and pursued a Master of Science degree in Physician Assistant Studies from Monmouth University in Long Branch, NJ. She rejoined NCFMC in her new role as a Physician Assistant in 2024. She is excited to continue her work in fertility medicine helping others grow their families.

Mitra Rajabi, FNP-BC
Mitra Rajabi is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner with extensive experience across various clinical settings. After earning a Master of Science in Nursing from the University of Texas at Arlington in 2022, Mitra transitioned into reproductive health, specializing in fertility care. Since becoming a nurse in 2012, she has developed a well-rounded clinical background, working in many specialties, including primary care, pain management, and aesthetic dermatology. Driven by a deep passion for helping others start their families, Mitra chose reproductive endocrinology because she finds great fulfillment in assisting individuals and couples through this important and life-changing journey. Her diverse background has equipped her with a unique perspective on patient care, fostering a holistic approach to fertility treatment. She views fertility care as encompassing both clinical treatment and essential emotional support, understanding that each patient’s experience involves more than just medical intervention. She strives to create a safe, welcoming environment where patients feel understood, valued, and fully supported. Her comprehensive understanding of women’s health and dedication to continuous learning ensure that patients receive exceptional care and the most effective path to success. In her free time, Mitra enjoys taking walks with her dog, hiking, and spending quality time with her family, balancing her professional life with a love for the outdoors and exploring new places.

Maria Tuite, WHNP-C
Maria Tuite graduated from Saint Mary’s College of California with a joint undergraduate degree in biology and women’s and gender studies. She went on to pursue a Master of Science in Sexual and Reproductive Health as a nurse practitioner at Vanderbilt University. Maria started her nursing career in community medicine, providing care to individuals underinsured in San Francisco. She then transitioned to Planned Parenthood, where she gained further experience in reproductive care across the lifespan. She is joining Northern California Fertility Medical Center with enthusiasm and passion for trauma-informed care and evidence-based practice. Maria is a board-certified women’s health nurse practitioner.
